Weltbekannt Offspring

Here are a few examples of Weltbekannt offspring. We will be updating this page, so please check back frequently.

In 2001, the first year that Weltbekannt's daughters were eligible for inspection, they made quite an impression. Several were among the top scoring mares of the tour: Waverly Q (out of Genial/Garibaldi II), White Lace, owned and bred by Leatherdale Farms (out of April/ Adios III), and Wintermaske, owned and bred by Home Again Farm (out of Rubizza/ Rubinstein I) all scored 7.5. Three daughters became Elite Mare Candidates: Waverly Q, Willow Q (out of Pik Dame/ Pik Koenig), and Wistoria (out of Flizzard/ Wertherson). High score Hanoverian mares at their inspections were: White Lace, Wintermaske, and Wunderstruck (out of Lucretia/ Laibach).

A son, Willkommen Q, bred by us and now owned by Lyndon Rife, has caused quite a stir at breed shows. Willie won the USDF Sport Horse three year old colt and gelding championship in Region 9 in 2000, and went on as the regions were compared to each other, to be the National Champion. In 2002 he was Hanoverian Champion and Grand Champion of the Pro-Am Challenge Horse Show in Glen Rose, Texas. We feel that he has the potential to become a top FEI dressage competitor and a valuable stallion some day. Willie is shown below with his surrogate Mom. He is by Weltbekannt out of our wonderful old mare SPS Pik Dame (Pik Koenig/Frustra/Domspatz), who was the only states premium full sister to the stallions Pik Bube I and II.
